JASMINE
MANDER

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Jasmine Mander is the founder of Return to Play as a physiotherapist with a Master’s in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. As both a former elite athlete and current rehab specialist, Jasmine brings a versatile dual perspective to rehabilitation and sports coaching. As a Canadian Youth National Team player, Jasmine won a U SPORTS National Championship with the University of British Columbia where she played on scholarship and was also a two-time Academic All-Canadian. Her dedication to sport and leadership has earned her national recognition as a WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada. Jasmine has experience working at a various of companies such as the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada Soccer, and New West Sports Medicine,

Jasmine has remained deeply embedded in high-performance sport, serving as a A License Professional Soccer Coach where she has attended two FIFA Women’s World Cups and contributing to Canada’s historic gold medal in women’s soccer at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Clinically, Jasmine holds advanced certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (Level 1–3 Lower, Level 1–2 Upper), and is a GLAD-certified clinician specializing in hip and knee osteoarthritis care. Her hands-on experience includes working with post-operative patients—particularly joint replacements and ligament injuries—as well as non-surgical rehab pathways.

What truly sets Jasmine apart is her personal journey: after tearing her ACL at the Canada Summer Games, Jasmine underwent a reconstructive repair that she re-ruptured after 10 months of rehabilitation. As she met with Physiotherapists to understand if another surgery would be required, it was deemed she might be a good candidate for conservative care (non operative). Jasmine successfully returned to college soccer without surgery in what is now called being an "ACL deficient Coper".  These experiences informed her individualized, evidence-based approach to care.

Jasmine specializes in return-to-sport rehabilitation, with a strong focus on on-field rehab that bridges the critical gap between the clinic and full athletic performance. Her background in elite sport, academia, and lived recovery experience make her uniquely equipped to guide athletes back to the demands of competition—stronger, smarter, and more confident than before
