About Worksafe BC (WSCB) Physiotherapy
WSCB Physiotherapy in Surrey: Learn who is eligible, what treatment includes, and how WSBC physiotherapy helps you recover from workplace injuries
WorkSafeBC (WSBC) physiotherapy is a recovery program designed to help injured workers regain movement, restore function, and safely return to work after a workplace accident or job-related condition. Delivered by licensed physiotherapists, WSBC treatment combines exercise, manual therapy, and personalized care plans. Physiotherapy is a core part of most WSBC-approved rehabilitation programs, so if your claim is accepted, you can feel confident knowing your treatment is fully supported.

Book Physiotherapy
Book your appointment and bring your claim number and doctor’s referral. If your claim is accepted, there is no cost to you — WorkSafeBC pays the clinic directly. If you start treatment before your claim is approved, eligible fees will be reimbursed once WSBC authorizes your physiotherapy.
How Do I Know If My WSBC Claim Is Accepted?
Once you (or your employer/doctor) have submitted your injury report, WorkSafeBC reviews the claim. You’ll be notified in a few ways:
-
Letter or email from WorkSafeBC – You’ll receive official confirmation stating whether your claim has been approved or denied.
-
Claim number – If you’re given a claim number, that means your case is in the WSBC system, but it does not always mean it’s already approved.
-
Contact from a WorkSafeBC case manager – They may call or email you to discuss your injury, treatment plan, and return-to-work options.
Tip: If you’re unsure, call WorkSafeBC directly at 1-888-967-5377 or ask your physiotherapy clinic to verify your claim before starting treatment.
